Dandelion Soundsystem`s record label New Flower Records is very grateful and happy to announce its new 12inch vinyl and digital release. Featuring two riddims by the young and highly talented Dub producer Toroki.
The first side of the record carries the tune „Angel's Touch“, an upful & energetic flute tune played by PiyaZawa, followed by the Dub version „Bassline Touch“. These Toroki compositions have usually been the most powerful tunes on any night in the last three years when Dandelion Soundsystem have played. An additional highlight on the same riddim is the song sung in German „Jah lebt“ by the great Melodiemann from of the Joyful Noise Soundsystem camp. After his „Lebe Auf“ EP on The Merchant Records 2018, he now returns with this release manifesting his pioneering position on the local Soundsystem scene.
On the flipside is the debut recording of Ical Ises himself, selector and micman from Dandelion. Delivering the Soundsystem anthem „Powers of Jah“, which has mashed up the dances all over the world where it has been played as pre-release Dubplate by King Shiloh Sound System. The marching Dubwise version „David vs.Goliath“ rounds up the record and is garnished with the samples of a speech by Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia giving hope and encouragement to the people.
The album was mastered by Ludwig Maier at GKG Mastering and the beautiful artwork was done by Raffaela.
